I've not driven it on the road that much and when I am its logging it.. so no traffic light GPs.. Its not my car its a customers car I have built

It has potential to nail most other cars on the road whilst looking tame from the exterior

Fabulous build Bill , credit to you . Look almost OEM! One thing.. I thought you'd box off the filter ? I'm not at all well up on Turbo applications , does having a large FMIC reduce the need for CAI and all that? I assume space is an issue..?

space is most certainly the issue on this polo yes.

    Update:
Been on Dyno today, fettling mapping, fueling & stuff
Lambda expired first thing so had to replace that, and it sorted a lot of stability issues I had been seeing on fueling control. I think its been going "iffy" since I started mapping it..

Anyhows.. subject to the usual Dyno Lottery
    POWER

    TORQUE

Interesting comparison on dynoplot between Polo and a certain 2ltr 20v Golf on here which runs an Owens IHI/Garrett hybrid on Jabba mani etc
    Red POWER is Polo

    Red TORQUE is Polo

Run on 2bar peak falling to 1.8 bar sustained

Runs on MBC, Apexi to dial in now mapping and fueling/ign is ok

    :)

Its a T3/T04e 57 trim dual bb chra on 0.63 hotside, externally gated by 38mm vband tial gate on tubular top mount manifold

0.63 hotside explains early spool, but how on earth did it support all that top end power? Maybe down to great flowing manifold/downpipe/exhaust and external wastegate?
Great work Bill, is the customer on any forums? I'd love to hear what he got to say about it, bet he will be over the moon!

he is on seatcupra.net with a full build thread of his car
should be collecting it shortly now..

i was dialing in a newly fitted apexi avc-r this weekend setting the boost settings and gear limit boost thresholds.. fiddly effing job that that is! jeeez

the manifold, inlet and exhaust are high flowing, r32 throttle body, ported smallport head, external gate helps a lot for flow. the turbine wheel is pretty large mind.. so flow is high from it. as a whole system i think its as good as it can be. but i would say that as i designed & made most of it - lol

for now its got a 5spd.. but I predict it will shortly be a 4spd + some spare teeth in the bottom of the case

How well does the Polo chassis handle that sort of power?
