I believe the VW part number for this is 431133441c, does anyone know if I can use one from an alternative car or can I only go with this one. reason for asking is because some places online are charging £150+ so would be good to know if I can save myself a few quid. TIA
found one here: https://www.cartech-one.co.uk/en/product/196308-bosch-druckspeicher-kraftstoffdruck alternative numbers Bosch 0 438 170 040 & 0 438 170 027, VAG 431133441D Can find similar ones on various other manufacturers, Audi, ford, Volvo, Saab, porsche, Ferrari all used variations of the kjet system. Not that any are any easier to find these days
You could also try ... http://www.kmipetrolinjection.co.uk/ http://www.golfmk1.co.uk/ I have a similar, new unit that I would sell ... only difference is that it has an outlet port at the base. This is to provide relief should the internal diaphragm rupture (I was going to run a hybrid fuel pump / accumulator system inside the car).
Bosch part no. 0 438 170 029 I also have for sale ... a new pump and pump / accumulator connecting hoses purchased from the above sources ... if required.
