so when you say that 99% of your stuff doesn't work you actually mean that you are being forced to work.

typical IT dept tbh. It should be locked down but if theres stuff that only they can do after its locked down they should do it before they leave!

I've worked with a lot of people like that. Me, I don't leave until the jobs done right, usually.

I am an IT admin and luckly for our all our employee's they all have administrator access to there own machines.

the normal reason that ystems are locked down is that most people have ZERO idea how to protect there PC. As soon as they see a pop up they click it and download any old crap onto there system

With there now being so much free software it still amazes me how people still get viruses and spyware on there system.

Basically if your system is locked down is prob cos you don't know enought to have admin access

Don't get me wrong Buzzby (BT Buzzby by any chance?) I work as Admin/Network support/printer support/software support/sales support.

Some of the w**kers in my place have Win98. We have remote viewing software.

They complain about an error in windows, we ask if they've been on X,Y and Z site. They say no...

We can actually see them on the site we mention. At the time of the call.

They deny installing games and sh*te software for their mobiles and the like.

Yet we see them doing it.

New WSP coming out next month, gonna be a LOT of written warnings. ;)
