    hey,
after my unfortunate write off (valver stacked when taken to
garage for service), i've been looking around and thinking
    about what i'd like...
have found a C reg Audi Coupe GT, seems really nice, i
understand it has a golf 1.8 8v engine as standard (its not the 5
    cylinder version).
does anyone know anything about these cars?
i have seen people posting lovely pics of Quattros etc.
...any advice would be most welcome,
    thanks as ever everyone!!!

This is in the garage where I work. Its been there at least 3 years. Never moved, amazingly its still a runner despite needing a new clutch.

The guy that owns it has been trying to sell it I think.

He owes a few quid for storage charges ... a decent bid would probably secure it.

Be careful it isnt a carburated version. 90bhp.

I think a C reg probably is carburated, they also didint have the same seats as the 5cylinder cars.

The 1.8 injected model was very good. I had one and sold it with 211,000 on the clock.

Handled great, probably beter than an 8v GTI, and just as quick.
