Good afternoon all hoping someone could help me identify this noise

    https://youtube.com/shorts/3M3tvDVbtbk?feature=shares

excuse the breathing this was a couple months ago when I done my ribs in

    also have another problem

ragged the car the other day parked it up all fine

next day clutch pedal was stiff and wouldn’t fully depress, wasn’t able to select gears, could select gears with engine off

released the pressure from slave cylinder and clutch went to the floor, bleed it all but still stiff and won’t fully depress! Bleed it from master cylinder but still same

removed the box and only thing I could see was the throw bearing (is it called that) wasn’t clipped to the clutch fork

anyway hoping the whirring noise is a bearing or some sort and I’ll send the box to get rebuilt

    thanks in advance

Nope, was exactly the same noise with clutch depressed, done about 300miles with the noise, no worse no better, just an annoying noise at idle, a slight whine in-line with the rev range

Are sure it's transmission end? I would remove the serpentine belt and see if noise stops, could be water pump, Alternator or PAS pump if fitted.

Definitely transmission end, no pas, no air con already replaced water pump after that video, 99% sure it’s not alternator, car it was from didn’t make that noise, only thing I have no history of is the gearbox
