Hi I have been looking around for a weber carb to replace the pieburg thingy on my winter runaround. At the moment i have had no joy...............so i got to thinking about putting a 1.3 golf/polo head (the crossflow one) on my 1.6 bottom end and the fabbing a manifold and putting motor bike carbs on. Is any of this possible? I really need to sort this car out and i have bike carbs and parts for fabing a manifold lying around so i recon it could be cheaper than the weber carb. What are the problems with this?
