hello! ive aquired a 1.6 driver over the weekend and having recently swapped out a 2e head on my bus to a pb would the driver benefit from the 2e cam in its place? ive got a gti mani and zorst and a better piper air filter i can put on. the pierburg is working fine so woulkd be reluctant to swap this out atm? worth fitting the 2e cam and decent exhaust or waste of time?
i think the 2e cam is roughly the same as the pb one, it should be better than the 1.6 cam assuming it fits? pretty sure it will but check carefully. i would fit a complete gti exhaust including the manifold and downpipe or not bother. the manifold + downpipe certainly helps free up the revs a bit even if the rest of the engien is completly standard, made a world of difference on my 1.6
