As far as I am aware to get more out of it I will need to put the metal head gasket on, gtd injectors and pump (maybe even bigger ones) and an intercooler (preferably front mount) what else you people recommend?
Does your injection pump have an LDA Fitted ? you don't have to change the head gasket, some of the T4 2.4D Turbo conversions are running 50% more power with standard gasket. I have a Landrover 300 Pump which is better than the GTD (100) fit a modified boost pin , you will only need a steel gasket if your running higher boost but i would also fit ARP Heads studs if your gunna run over 1.5bar fit an EGT Gauge so you can monitor what the engine is doing, you don't want to melt a piston. PP3 Uprated injectors 150BAR fit a Boost controller
Didn't see the reply. I will do the head gasket anyway as I'm not sure when it has been changed last, I know I will have to block up the pressure relief valve if running over 1 bar. I am tempted to run a 300tdi pump as they are more common but would gtd injectors be fine with the 300 pump?
