hey my grilfriend s mark one cabriolet engine needs some tlc ,its 1.8 8v gti k jet lump. i have a 1.8 8v k jet out of an early mark to golf my thoughts are to just swop them over so that it keeps car on rd for those sunny days , i no i need to change the inlet mainfold over tho to match right hand side meter head . is there any only problems that i may have looking at the heads all holes look the same for bolt ing things on any info wood be great thanks j
Engine itself is gunna be the same pal just swap the stuff over, aslong as all the K jet components are working well at present.
thats what i thought and hoping lol ,yes the components all are working the head thats in car needs re build just old age and have good lump ready to go in thanks dude
