1.8 KR cylinder swap to 2.0, which blocks does it fit

    Hi Guys,

    Quick question!

    Tried searching the forum but i did not find my answer so i have a 1.8L kr engine right now but what i want to know is which blocks does the KR cylinder fit?

    2E ?
    ABA ?
    ADY ?
    AGG ?

    These i know it fits,
    6A
    9A
    ABF

    The EA827 16v cylinder head fits all of the above.
    There are many threads on this forum that can answer your question, such as the differences in 027, 051 and 051D cylinder heads.

    just be aware that an 8v block needs pretty much all the parts swapping for 16v stuff so not usually worth it unless say you have a cracked 16v block to use as a parts donor

    If you are the USDM and never had ABF coded EU engines, then what he asked it pretty common + the rest.
