and the world record for longest amount of time taken to fit alloys.
From purchasing (Dubfreeze 2002) to fitting (today) in approx 1.5 years. [:o)]

    J plate 1.8 MK2 driver bought in late 2001.
Lowered 40mm on sach boge shocks and springs. Soon changing to avo adjustable's.
Zimmerman crossdrilled 239mm gti discs, pagid fast road pads and braided hoses. Gonna upgrade to 256 when that lot wears out.
Interior was mk1 scirrocco storm leather interior (I think)
Now Leather Recaro's in front still trying to figure out how to fit the rear (Not corrado but is VAG)
Exhaust, Jetex S/S half system with twin 80mm tail pipes.
    Big bumpers fitted late 2002
Lights, M3 (Is it?) rear lights and crystal clear lights and indicators at the front
Wheels are BBS RZ 14's refurbed in enamel black by Toby Restorick and with falcon ZE512 tyre's
EDIT: Almost forgot my favourite mod...
Rain sensor, basically I can forget about my wipers now.[:D]

Now I just need time to clean it.
    Plans:
Like I said 256mm set up on the brake's
    ARB's
    Hopefully a respray next year
and looking into how to fit a crossflow head with twin carbs.

Well I like it now, but the place that fitted it originally didn't fit any bumpstops which explains quite a bit.
Still a huge improvement over standard shocks and springs.
Oh and the TSR 16v mk2 was on sach boge springs at donington yesterday (can't remember what shocks prob konis) which says a fair bit about them.

Nice mate. Thinking of going for the same kit myself. Did you fit the recaro's yourself? did they take much to do?

The recaro's had some weird subframe on which was already welded to a golf subframe.
The fronts went in but I need to file down some of those rubber bits that stop the seats from rocking side to side.

    The backs are really confusing.
I'll try and get some pictures up in styling and trim later on and see if anyone recognises what they're from.
