so far, i haven't been able to find any upgraded cam packackes for my GTI.... 03 1.8T. does anyone know where/what is out there ? if so, cost, empirical changes etc. ? thanks
try dr schrick, just the cams cost 700 solid lifters are recommended at 300, but they make a difference, mine come on song around 4800rpm and carried on past 8000rpm could have even hit peak power at 10k rpm,but they were taken out because the tuner couldnt raise the rev limiter on oem high enough [:^(]
10k!? what sort of work would be required on the bottom end to rev that much!? would it be safe/reliable?
