I think one of my coil packs has gone, however i've taken them out and they have 3 different part numbers:
    06B 905 115L
    06B 905 115J
    06B 905 115G

Are these coil packs all the same? My plan is to buy one and swap them around until i find the duff one. MY engine is from an audi 1.8t (AGU). do i get the part from audi or would vw be cheaper? [:s]
Please help as i want to go to malvern in it on sunday!!

I know that the 06B 905 115G's are the four pin coils suitable for the TT and S3 Engines, not sure about the other two codes. I took these off my engine as I never ran coilpacks for reliability's sake as they were notorious for failing back them (about 18 months ago).

I had one go before but i'm not sure which one was replaced.
i would've thought they'd be the same as i have 2xJ,1xL,1xG and it normally runs fine.
Any idea how much they are?

    Cheerz for the help people.
I got an "L" coil pack from swindon audi today, had a fiddle after work and all is fine now.
Cost me 18 + VAT. Apparently the letter at the end of the part no. denotes the newness of the design I.E. L is the latest, before that was J, then G and so on...

    Malvern here i come!!! :p
