Right I've got a 1.8T AJQ engine code 180bhp. I've decided to use an AGU loom and ECU as they can be remapped and so I can use a cable throttle body and it seems cheaper than using an aftermarket system where they charge you 1k for the product and you then have to go back for remapping at 500 before it will work......... Anyone got any helpful hints or tips for building a 20v mk1 on a budget????

    cheers

    Nick

Use the search funtion, theres been couple links (which I can't be bothered looking for [:$])

Hint: select the area of forum you need to look in, I.E. engines, & use key words

searching the whole forum can kick back an error lately

You could use the QPEng plug and play ecu kit. <1k for the ecu, modified
loom and map sensor. It comes fully mapped from the box and will give
you ~220BHP. You can fit it yourself in under an hour. Info on their
    website
