Hello folks, first post, so apologies if in the wrong place! My 2001, 140k 1.8T is having an intermittent problem with the oil light/ beep warning. At first sign of issue, had my mechanic replace the pump, clean the pickup etc. Beeped again after first 30 mile run. Took her back in, and we decided to do an oil treatment, run her for 20 miles (no issues) and do another oil change. That was a week ago. She’s beeped again tonight when I was coming home. When she beeps, I pull over immediately and turn off the engine - on restart, no further issue. No funny noises or overheating and she’s running beautifully. What’s my next move - sensors? Any advice much appreciated! Gillian
