Any idea whether this will fit? the spacing looks very similar.

The spacing's identical but it won't be deep enough for the standard KR
manifold so you'll need some extensions making up or cut the manifold
down. You'll also need to use G60 injector cups to fit the Bosch injectors
    into the manifold.

Cheers Greg, depth etc not an issue as I'm running ITBs. Jenvey want 58+ for a fuel rail and I have to run a seperate FPR, whereas the mk4 rail comes with the FPR on the end of the rail (I think) so might end up being cheaper.

it does fit with some mods, not difficult really. Use a corrado (check not exactly sure - i can get the part no off it if its any help) fpr as it 4bar too.

    not the best pic

Thanks for the pic Barny - 4 bar FPR is on the shopping list. ;)

Interesting alternator set-up - was it fouling the TBs?

Ahem - one of many "bodges" to see what fits where ! Very much a (no) work in progress, hopefully spring time will release some spare time to tinker some more!

Bill told me this is the one I need -
Fuel rail, fabricated steel for 2 twins with -6 fitting TBR2/?/?/? 58.00

I can get a new VW one for around 40 plus oem VW fprs are a lot smaller than aftermarket one.

Does the price for a new VW one include the fpr though? Or will an old digi fpr fit the 20vt rail?

The mk3 8V Digi FPR fits the 1.8T rail and as far as I know that's the same
fitment (and same pressure) as the mk2 8V Digi FPR.

No, the VR6(?) 4 bar fpr is another 50 or 60.

OK I thought it might be the same, it's just that in a lot of pics i've seen the fpr looks quite small on the 1.8t rail, wasn't sure if it was a new mini-fpr [:$]
