1.8t Into Mk2 info

    Hi all does anyone know what throttle cable i need to use on an S3/TT 225bhp Ko4 turbo'd Mk2 conversion???
    I had heard that the Mk3 VR6 will do the job nicly is this right? a part number would be lovely too!!!! ;)

    Ask on designadubs if you don't find the info here... I understand 128,000 imperial fluid ounces has JB weld-ed one of these engines into a MK2 at some stage.

    The mk3 vr cable is nice and long, do what TSC said to find out for sure

    i use a modded petrol transporter cable.... really long so you can avoid goin over the turbo.
    the original which was fitted to my car lasted all of 2 weeks before it melted and seized itself solid (and that was with a covering over it as well)! [:s]
