    Hi!

Pretty much as the title says... can anybody tell me what the lower (bottom radiator) coolant flange (on the block) diameter is? I've got a 20v in a mk2 (how original eh  ) using a mk2 8v GTi rad and the bottom hose is leaking so I need to replace it. I can't get the verniers to give me a definitive reading (getting a range of 30-35mm on both the rad and block flange) as space is tight there, and I use it daily for work. If anybody could give me both measurements I owe you a pint or two!

    Cheers

Edit: When I say the coolant flange I mean the thermostat housing!

Its about 55mm, its pretty much the same size as the mk 2 golf water pump bottom housing.

I presume you're meaning the hose diameter, if so the hose to the engine needs to be 35mm ID and the radiator hose needs to be 32mm ID, this is on an AGU engine.
I used Viper Performance for mine, oddball sizes take a while to come through as they make them to order.
