i wish there was a site with the service schedules for cars listed. i might be a geek and make one. from memory, the cambelt was 70k.
depends what servicing schedule its on, either time and distance or variable. get an engine code and il let u know when cambelt was due/done

engine code wil be something like AVB?????? (6 numbers) and they are due on PDs at either 60,000 or 80,000. Servicing depends on how the vehicle was set on and previous servicing.
belt at 60k...diesel filter, oil and filter, air filter? not much else on it. had my sharan done for 200 inc belt
Personally I would get it done every 10,000 miles. I service my mk3 tdi every 6,000 miles. But that is a mk3. Cambelts are due every 60,000 miles on a PD or 40,000 for later ones. But get it checked
check the engine code with VW they do vary. it became 40,000 because VW now recommend a cambelt every 4 years .... i believe regardless of mileage ..... on everything!!!
