i wish there was a site with the service schedules for cars listed. i might be a geek and make one.

from memory, the cambelt was 70k.

engine code wil be something like AVB?????? (6 numbers) and they are due on PDs at either 60,000 or 80,000.

Servicing depends on how the vehicle was set on and previous servicing.

Changed to 40k for later models, much may apply here.

Personally I would get it done every 10,000 miles. I service my mk3 tdi every 6,000 miles. But that is a mk3. Cambelts are due every 60,000 miles on a PD or 40,000 for later ones. But get it checked

    I'm curious.

Missed a Specsavers appointment?, or are you a small, colourful tropical bird?

check the engine code with VW they do vary. it became 40,000 because VW now recommend a cambelt every 4 years .... i believe regardless of mileage ..... on everything!!!
