    2002 vr6- in 12v form?! [:s]

well the 12v vr6 is used in 91-99 cars in the uk, performance is about 7.2, 0-60 and top speed of 135mph?
1/4 mile in region of mid 15's, don't know 0-100 time...

if it's the same engine in a 2002 car, expect the peformance to be slower than that.....

if you mean a 24v 4motion golf then:
    0-60: 7.1
    0-100:
    1/4: mid 15's as well
    top speed:145mph

So far from the research i've done there were 2 vr6 engines in the 2002 gti there was a 200bhp 24v vr6 and a 174bhp 12v vr6. I am pretty sure i have the 2nd of the 2, and i still would like to know what i can possibly do to tune my engine and get my car faster, if anyone has some ideas i would love to hear them

    engine tuning:

shrick vsr manifold, decent exhaust sytem,a decent cai- just for the noise alone! ;), then head work, cams etc... think typical bhp for n/a cars is between 195-220 with that sort of work, but not entirely sure, you'll have to wait till the forum gets busy for more detialed answers.

    then theres supercharging and turbocharging......
