i think the hall sender took a dump on our 1300 polo, ive stripped it so far and now cant remove that gold clyinder thing in the middle ive tried bashing the hell out of the shaft from both ends...no circlips visible anywhere? any ideas
Look at the other end. There's a small roll pin through the shaft. It's quite obvious as it's sat in a trough running across the pin plate. Knock it out and the shaft comes free.
well i did knock the pin out in the bottom end..it hasnt free'd anything up at all should i bash the shaft out from underneath?
