13cm componennts and 17cm two-way

do you reckon 13cm components will sound as good if not better as 17cm twoway speakers?

i have 13cm sonnys at the mom which are not bad but not great - i can only fit 13cms and wonder what to get.

 

depends what you are after,

with components if you mount the tweeters on the dash you will get a higher sound stage which if set up will sound better than jsut some coaxals in your doors as the sound stage will be lower,

if you can only fit 13cm why are you asking about 17cm coaxals?

i suppose there is a possibility that i convert to electric windows and have 17cms in the doors!
