currently working on a mk1 16v, but wanting to play around with the engine.

Would i gain any benifits from running a stand alone fuel managent system?? I think i'm trying to say,can i keep witht the 16v lump, but lose the K-jet system, without going to carbs?

Would i gain/lose any power??your ideas and thoughts please!!

    It's a KR lump.

    Cheers All!!

you can go for standalone with a set of tb's, but on a standard engine i'd doubt its benefits over a well setup k-jet system-plus it'll cost a bomb to setup.

I'd spend the money elsewhere before i went to tb's.

    Hello [:D]

Yes there are alternatives to K-Jet/carbs. My MS setup has cost far less than a new set of carbs, and it has so many advantages.
