16v power figures

    if i was to do the following mods on my 91 1.8 16v, what sort of power will i be looking at and will i keep low down tourque.
    ABF inlet cam
    induction kit
    WUR mod
    set up on stealths rollers.

    What kind of induction kit? Vince can get you 150+ on a good standard KR. As much as 155.

    my induction would consist of standrd air box with k&n filter with the front plate removed and a cold air feed coming from behind the big bumper fog light.

    ABF inlet cam? why? I belive ABFs are are a tad more aggressive than KR, but not heard of that done before.

    Twin KR exhaust cams tho is a popular mod that on 1.8 valver can be good for 10bhp alone on an otherwise standard KR

    Anything up to 155 BHP IMO..

    The ABF cams are higher lift but less duration, I think tub was saying that his 2.0 was a lot more revvy with the ABF cams than the KR ones, not sure on the power differences though.

    wouldn't bother with the cam or induction kit, just service it replace rotor arm etc, them take it to stealth

    mines 149bhp with a pipercross induction kit and 110k to boot ;)

    ooooooh well mines 158bhp with a 3 paper filter and 150k on it :lol: :lol: [8D]

    they just get better with age......you get a free wider bore over time :lol:

    thats interesting mine was 169bhp with 2k on it, i wonder what it will be now it run in a 12k more [:?:]
