There's a few different manifolds available some better than others .
As I'm not on cabs I can't think of specific threads just read them and moved on to the next thread .
Try looking at some of Jon Olds stuff he's a carb man

The manifolds out there usually require modifying alternator bracket, prices are about 180-250
Been looking into it as having trouble with k-jet myself
Mr hillclimer has these made and are highly recommended maybe worth a look

Pretty much all the manifolds you can buy are within the DCOE/DHLA angle tolerance. I'm a carb man? Maybe. I'm a clubman for sure, where VFM matters.
TB's have many many advantages, such as being to vary airflow at any angle. And I love electronics......

Good to chew this info, as there is always something to learn

Most manifolds will sit the carbs at the correct or suitable angle. Carbs can cope with a 7 degree tilt...a little more with the float heights re set.

Our manifold has a slight tilt but not much...all the carb engines that I've supplied them for run fine.

Be careful of the manifolds with a kick up to clear the alternator...they flow very poorly.
