Just got back from having the rado dynod at stealth. pulled a misarable 120bhp 1st run which was soon indentified by the woodruff key being sheared off in the cam pulley So vince supplied me with a new pulley and then had to remove the cams and refit as modded cam was timed to the nackered pulley Result???? 162BHP 136LBS OF TORQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can guess i was well chuffed and the car has been transformed so big up to STEALTH This now proves to all the sceptics that the 2 zorst cam mod is great as that is really all ive done except the 4branch! Nice figures!!!! Did they play wit the fueling much or not? coz i've got the same cams but ijust need a setup.
My previous engine had the same mods and it produced very similar figures, not bad for what they cost.
Not a bad result flusted , any probs with ground clearance? Uses an exhaust cam with the end chopped off with new timing mark as an inlet cam - I've got one in mine. Edited by: G_V_K
The famous wur mod was done and vince said you can get away with a bit more advance on ignition timing with the cam mod,which i think he said was set to 8degrees. Had to unbolt my front spoiler when i got there but otherwise it fitted fine thank god
nice one, can you send me the file or get vince to send it then i can plot it against some stock valvers and see the difference
Dont worry about it, I'll take my chances with the fatter roll bars and lard arse hanging out the back of my Jetta
How do i get vince to send it? i asked for it on floppy but he didnt have a spare 1 so only got print out
Came to 160 2 and half hours labour and 20 for secondhand pulley I only took 100 with me so had to borrow money off someones card over the phone
yeah send me all the files and i'll plot em and post em to GVk to go on his 16v tune up page, if there is any room left
