18"s on a 16v mk3?

    as per title.at the mo i have a setof audi tt comps but my brake kit doesnt fit so have to go 18"s.what du u thing?

    I wouldn't advise it to be honest mate, i'm not even sure it can be done. You'd have to have a seriously low profile tyre to fit under the arches. Also think about potholes. Ouch !

    As above, what brakes ? I'd of thought TTcomps would clear 288's..

    i have a set of 330mm d2 8 pods going on.i was thinking of 8x18 audi tt reps with 215/35 tyres.i tried the brakes in the wheels but the calibers cant fitt in.also tried them in some open spoke oz superlegeras but no luck

    You'll need some seriously good suspension to stop the wheels bumping into the arches every time you hit an uneven bit of road - and be prepared for total spine anhilation.

    already god some d2 fully adj coilies (track series) powerflex bushes seam welded arms solid top mounds and eibach anti rolls
