1900 8v - What Compression Ratio

    Also, you may start to enccounter overheating issues the higher the compression. Which, on a daily would be a pain in the rear if your stuck in alot of traffic.
    Your advantage with running a mapable ecu is that you should be able to time out all the pinking etc, which on a carbed engine running a std. 16v ecu for example is a pain.
    I had to compromise increased timing and better top end for a smoother non pinking drive. It was never really right, but not too bad.

    I seem to recall that your valver went ok. It didn't feel like much of a compromise.
