1976 scirocco trans-am champ anyone?

    nope, i've seen it before but know nothing about it other than whats written in the pic.

    does sound pretty impressive though and looks seriously cool [8D]

    170bhp and 150mph.

    So what engine would it have had back then?

    Well it's less than 2 litres, and says 'over head cam' so prob not a 16v (too early for the 16v anyway isn't it??)

    So I'd say an 8v bored out to 1.9ish with headwork, cams new pistons etc. :)

    Pretty impresive considering Volkswagen have never much success with Motor racing. The Golf Rallye was a Joke really. It was always VW's better looking sister Audi that won everything.
