should be by 1989, no telling if its the original head though! if you pop the rocker cover off checkthe cam caps. if one is missing its a hydro head
oh i should add, make sure the cam cap looks like it should be missing there are no stud holes and the casting is smooth, you'll also note an oil jet placed in the middle of the cap area like zis:
