1991 Passat Question

    Just blagged a 91 passat estate on the cheap for its 2e engine, will be breaking it in the near future, anybody know what other parts are of much use?.......

    Woth getting the brakes off it. Wheels if the tyres are any good. Fuel pressure regulator if it's on K-jet...

    Door handles are the same are Corrado ones i think and fetch a few quid, Brakes are they are 256mm the same as Mk2 16v Golfs....

    I thought you already had an engine in your garage [:s]

    As for the rest - pretty much what's been said already. Brakes if they are bigger. Will you be able to use the wishbones etc to go wide track aswell?

    I have but......;), few other tricks up my sleeve!:lol: Thinking widetrack but not sure its worth it. Will see what else can be stolen from it when I get it, anything else anyone can think of? If anyone wants anything off it pm me.

    As already covered in bits and pieces...

    Wishbones, driveshafts, tie rods etc are good for a widetrack conversion... has it got 256mm discs on it too? 15" steel wheels maybe?

    ...and you could use the shell as a shed...
