Well decided to restart the project.

didn't get rid many of the items so decided to get this project back on track.

Going use standard pistons and fit two Metal Head Gaskets to lower the compression, as i sold the pistons.

Just purchased a Set of ARP Headstuds and ARP crank studs.

Use ARP all the time and they are worth the extra cash.

STD VW Bolts are fine. ARPs when you plan to get serious 300+lbft at high revs.

Yes i know, but they are re-usable and i think they are better being studs it make it easier fitting head etc.

Just need to choose a Turbo now [:s]

look on german ebay for the kkk turbos. i got my k24 7000 (S2) from there. Bought a rebuild kit and have done the bearings and seals as there was slight in and out play. Fairly straight forward job. Used a Melett kit.

Why do you want a k27? It may be a bit big for a 2ltr as a search showed that they are mainly fitted to trucks, the odd boat engine and cars like the BMW 745i and the 911 turbo.

My mate at AET has a rebuilt one which i can use and should be good for 250bhp in its standard trim with the potentional for more with a different trim. Also i'm sure the S2 comes with the K027 as standard.

Just waiting for the Head studs to arrive before i start rebuilding the spare engine.

S2 Comes standard with the k24 and is the same as the 200 quattro turbo.;) part number has 7000 at the end. The k24 turbos come in the k14/k16 style or k27 style look here
put part numer in and it should tell you where turbo is from.

When you re-wire a house it fits between the socket and the metal back box, to protect the live terminals (fixed wiring) so that the plasterer, painter and tiler can do their work without removing the socket and having to removed, and stops the back box getting filled with plater and dust.

IEE Regulations 17th Edition 522.4 ( Presence of Solid foreign bodies AE).

We pulled out of Dragons Den four days before filming
