Yes 20vts are faster than mine. BUT... they couldn't get the power down in the short space of time needed to get a decent time.

And my 8v was a 16v killer... it beat all of my mates knackered 16v's... so it killed them. This 16v kills my old 8v.. but thats a well maintained, well set up car.

Chris -- Eleneeriffe doesn't exist -- you just look like a right thick **** now!

so the 8v was a knackered 16v killer
    not quite the same
is this 16v a knackered 20vt killer then?
Ive seen too many people gop on about how great their car is. It aint all about bhp, it s also down to driver skill and how the car delivers the power. Seems a shame you end up hijacking a thread to polish your own ego innit.

I'm not hijacking thread to polish my ego... i don't need to do that. I already know i'm the greatest at everything!

And i know it ain't all about bhp -- i have less power than the 2 20vt's i beat.. and less than a fair few cars i've passed!

I do my job on here though... just can't help but wind people up!

Not suprised at all if nobody at all cares what my car will do... i don't expect anyone to have even the slightest interest in my car!

I don't think it's better than everything.. but i do like causing arguments.. it's funny to watch!

No offence was taken, I'm just glad that I bought a "bargain" car.
OK I have spent 200 on 4 new tyres, and 200 on a service,
the radiator gave up (50) and the starter's knacked (10), but it
    is great fun.

The BMW Mini I just smoked was quite surprised. I was
trundling at 30mph through the villages, with him right up my
chuff, however when the dual carriageway came, he was a
    speck in the mirror.

I think I will not go for the twin 40s as I have already got a 32/34
(I think) and would rather spend the money on a Pack C head,
    with decent manifold and exhaust.

As long as the value of the car stays roughly the same, I am
    happy.

See any of you guys at Castle Combe this weekend?

    Steve
