    looking for any ifo i can get on a 2.e motor. i'm in the US and we never got this motor. pics would be nice as would any iformation thanks in advance.

    It's also known as the tall block, for obvious reasons.

    i know bore and stroke .interested in the injection system,ie what is it?is this tuneable?what is the spec on the cam?pics of this motor completeincluding emmision system.i have the tall block less all accessories.

    The 2E is a digi system. I picked my 2E engine up last night from TSC so I can send you pics of it later today.

    I could post a link now but it wouldn't be much use as it's just sitting in the boot of my car.

    @ gtidaddy - what are you trying to achieve? Maybe we can recommend the best way to get the power you want, or has someone offered you an engine on the cheap?

    It's sometimes better to stick with the management that came with the car it's going in, but depends on what you're trying to do, and for how much work / money.

    Looking at this last night my mind started to wander....

    I've never attempted an engine swap before and I was thinking about what it would take to make a twin engined mk2 :lol:

    2e block was in early gti golf's (ive been told), and in passat's (GL or CL i think) that's where i got mine for my 1/2 project (as in its half done!)

    is this digi 1 or digi2?i would like to use this motor as away of being different.mk2 crossflow swaps are a dime a dozen so a counter flow would be different.i'm planning on putting this in my 91 digi 2 jetta.hoping to get about 150 hp.i am also thinking of putting a 02a tranny in too.thanks again guys
