2 Golf MK 3 questions

Hi Guys

Does a 1992 MK 3 Golf GTI have the same seats as a 1996 GTI or were they changed at some point ? also how do you alter the clock on the standard sony radio?

1995 there was a facelift done on the mk3 gti, seats are different material, don't go bobbly like early style ones and have a shinier appearance. Which sony radio is it Tape or CD version?

The cassette player is done off radio stations via RDS isn't it, [Struggling to think back]

 

press display so the clock comes up when it's powered on then i think you use the tuning butons or volume, it's pretty easy to work out........

 

up to 1992 the 8 v gti had official recaro bucket (i just sold my old 8v mk3) but I think in 94 they changed it to standard boring black seats. the recaros were lovely

 

I think you'll find the Recaro's were an optional extra. The standard seats stayed the same apart from the material covering them. The recaro's are very nice, if you are lucky enough to find a set!

 

I just sold my entire mk3 8v (damaged engine among other things) for 775 quid. Could have paid that jsut for the full set of recaros!

 

while we're talkin about seats...did any gti's/vr6's come with rear headrests as standard (cloth not leather seats..i know they did)?
