Yeah I guess it could get tight. You may ideally need to swap to DCOE type bodies on a manifold to get the length in.

Extensions will be around 130 a set.

seems a very expensive way to make the inlet length greater. i had all kinds of (perhaps daft) ideas for doing this ranging from making the whole width of the slam panel into a large fixed position airbox and linking to it with flexible silicone pipes from each cylinder, to using 60 degree curved silicone pipes with bell mouth flares attached in the ends.

it just needs a bit of thought. anyone ever had a custom silicone pipe mould made? or maybe those curved m3 trumpets can be made to fit?

Seventy nine , Made fancy trumpets on a 3d printer
That's probably the way to go nowadays as 3d printers are getting cheaper costco do a reasonable size one for less than a grand ::thumbup:

I'm just about to put together a 16v for my rally car, to road rally spec. That dictates the use of std plenum and throttlebody (KR or 8V spec). I'm expecting 200+bhp out of that so hopefully that can make it one here soon :).

Here is a pic of some of the kit of parts I have, JMR will have a hand in this one as well. Be interesting to see what it can make on the dyno.

I have promised to do this so here is a list of EA827 valvers tested at various tuning centres.
While this is a fun thread, I will refrain from putting the list from biggest number to smallest as that would not be correct, due to the variability in test measurements from one place to the other and the lack of correlation.

So here is the list, which can be filled with more details if required
