20V Turbo vs 1.8T ? Emblem on Engine?

I am shopping for a 2003 GTI 1.8T I have noticed some of the engines
have a 20V Turbo emblem on them and some do not. Is there a difference?
Can't seem to find any info from VW.

 

Don't know about the US mate, but in the UK I'm pretty sure the engines are the same. You get a variety of badges on the back of the car but the 1.8T engine is a 20V turbo. Usually producing 150bhp, but tuned up to 180bhp for anniversary models.

 

and the TT one?

 

Don't think that's available in the Golf is it?
TT engine is a 20V turbo but was tuned up to 210 then 225bhp I think?? Bit more to it than just a little tuning though, think it is actually a different engine.

TT ones have 5V on them

 

My A3 1.8T has 5V on it. Same engine though.

 

P.S. I mean 150 1.8T as in the golf, not the TT!

 

This is mine. What I want to know is where the other 15 valves went? Mine only says 5v on it
