cheers amy,its probably out of the question anyway but ya never know [8-}] whats about engine mounts etc? the same?

gary, you seem to know me all to well m8

when looking for a rado,it was a case of condition over engine choice tbh.

would have liked a kr 1800,and then thrown an abf/9a in on carbs.

    nice and simple.

Riley it will drop straight in on G60 mounts, your gearbox/clutch is perfect for the job.

Go on you you know you want to :)

into a g60 is probably the easiest transplant.

Amy only had bother as she used the fuggin huge 02m gearbox. your g60 box, assuming it's in good shape would be ideal.

you already have an intercooler, the only tricky bits would be the downpipe and the wiring.

few choices there, OEM with modded original loom,DTA/MBE

    or the Qpeng kit

sounds good,is the downpipe needing to be a custom job? or is there a concoction that does the trick?

apart from that and the wiring, its just a case of piping up then?

good to get this info for the future, dont know if theres a specific thread on it already?

    cheers,neil. :)

Did the driveshafts need to be shortened when using the 02M box?

Wondered whats required to fit it?

Driveshafts had to be made, half from the G60 and half from the Seat Leon donor. Cant remember the measurements it was over 2 yrs ago
