I remember the vid of the evo spinning out as soon as he let off the throttle.. this guy seems to just fully let off the throttle and nothing what a car
Oh yeah, that was Rich at Marham. 183mph then WOOOOOPS!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0oJ2wQiu2Y You Tube ******s! They've taken the audio off it.
Nice, plenty of companies jumping on the GTR bandwagon now. There was also a skyline that spun at about 180mph when the spoiler or boot lid flew off. I read a lot of info on VW developing the mk1 Golf many moons ago, apparently the angle of the hatch made a huge difference and they changed it, the little hatch spoiler also adds a fair bit of downforce.
this gives me a little tingle inside as Severn Valley is about 10mins form my house up the road and i've seen this car and can confirm its fully mental severn valley used to be big into the ford scene years ago and did one of the first cosworth powered transit vans again another mental motor, seems they have been pushing into the jap tuning side in the last few years with obvious great results
Yep, remember them building some rapid Cosworths and RS Turbos when I was into the Ford scene in the late 90s.
Yep, i used to live in small village not to far away, Cressage, and had relatives in Iron Bridge. They always had few exiting cars in workshop every time i went past, mid 90s also I didn't realise they moved over to Jap scene
there was always a fair few rapid old fords knocking about lol they sambo they started dropping from the high profile fords a while ago, i assume they still do them when asked but i guess in a way that side of the ford scene has died down and they have moved with the times and in the jap stuff along with it
