Bought a cheap mk3 golf gti to run round in for a while which was sorn'd for two years. First 2 days faultless but a bit flat occaisionally. Cut out on me after two mins of driving one evening, struggled to stop it bogging down last night But eventually cleared and it was dog poo this afternoon. Starts first time, revs settle, becomes lumpy with delayed throttle response and more bogging down. Switch it off and start it and its perfect for another 10 seconds and back to rough running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg5uiNNGNU8&feature=youtube_gdata_player Fuel pump has 12+ volts all the time while running Cam Timing was a tooth out now sorted and rotor centred ISV works Throttle body and isv cleaned out No air leaks found Earth points and vac lines ok Also bypassed blocked off oil breather at air intake with no improvement After first start up it revs cleanly idles ok, give it 10-20 seconds and it starts dying and cutting out. Aftermarket alarm/immobiliser only i think. Any ideas anyone? Thanks
