just placed my digi 8v head on my 2E block to try it and noticed the dowells on the block dont fit into the digi head, they are just sat at the back doing nothing, is this right? looks like everything lines up and the head bolts just secure it in place, is this correct? thanks
As far as I can remember they are just for locating and aren't needed for the pb head, just whip em out. When I was doing this conversion I'd read some people had them and others didn't.
they are the same on a digi - they do not slot into anything - the head is butted up against them. perhaps on that bottom end the original head is a bit beffier hence a gap
