I run Performance Friction Carbon Metallics in mine. Std Galfer pads that come with Brembo's are ok (sort of Pagid fast road comparible I would say) Ferodo DS2500's work better, last longer and put up with track use better. Not up to my ibiza tho, so trying some DS3000's shortly to compare. PF CM pads are AWESOME stoppers. Durable too. (not cheap tho)
Cheers Bill Im putting a similar set-up on mine but i've got some crappy green stuff pads. Looking for some proper pads looks like ds2500's might just do the trick!!
I don tthink ds2500's will dissapoint, especially on a lighter car. Mine works them too hard but with less weight they would be perfect
I've used DS2500 on my OEM calipers, and yes they're good, but after about 2 track days, you might as well bin them as they lose their bite I find. DS3000 are awesome, not for road use though < whistles >
Nothing is there? , just remember him getting some discs and did a search for your name and this came up with AP in the suject, just wasn't sure if they were the same thing. Hence the
Ahh.. had me worried for a moment.. I made em. (not the disks, AP made them ) There was seom pad pickup after a combe day I believe which wore off a while later.
i fitted maccas AP discs which came from bill,, very nice piece of kit,, we had a little bit of pad material on the disks at the forst trackday which later wore off, but we only fitted them the day before,, they didnt get a good chance to bed in properly had they of had a good break in i suspect this wouldnt of happened anyways they are awesome disks!!
Good good.. I think my engine has overcome my braking again.. just destroyed my disks @ Combe the last weekend. DOH! most heavy duty AP's on their way to me shortly I hope to replace them.
your gonna have to have a retractable parachute hanging out the back of that beezer soon to slow her down!!!
LOL.. need a brake company as a sponsor.. LOL also goign to try something different in the disk supplier front. ordered a new set from someone else, but for these I will have to make some special bells. Going to try these pagid blues peeps keep raving about. see if they;re as good as they're cracked up to be
