My Kjet is running like crap. It farts and burps at low revs then clears at higher revs or sometimes under load. The only way I can get it to run is to move the sensor plate upwards in the cone. I think it's running rich (Eyes sting when near the exhaust) but again, it's the only way I can get it to run in any manner. I had a dead fuel lift pump which then killed my main pump (Long story) so rigged an inline filter and lifter pump. I don't have an accumulator as the one I had was leaking like a sieve. I press the brake pedal and the revs rise shortly after. It's doing my head in and I have a Kjet specialist who's going to look into it when he gets off medical leave, but I'm thinking there's more than the Kjet wrong. Anyone for anything?
to start with get an accumulator, this is required to smooth out fuel flow and probably isnt helping. is the fuel reservoir under the car being kept topped up by the new lifter pump? if so thats good at least. might be theres an air leak somewhere, or your WUR is playing up. the k-jet specialist will be able to at least check the fuel pressures which will show you how the fuel pump and wur are performing
