Hi Guys, Was wondering if anyone could help. The car starts perfect on first turn every time and idles normally... then when the engine heats up a bit the idle goes a but nuts! Fine when driving, but if i stop at lights etc the revs will sometimes jump to about 2500 and will only return back (very slowly) if i blip the throttle. The other week while outside the local takeaway and with the missus in the car it jumped up to about 3000! I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to engines as I have a guy my end who usually does all of it for me, but he has sort of gone off the scene... Any help would be great!
Clean out idle valve, check wiring to throttle body, check for vacuum leaks could well be something simple.
