Any one know if companies do a 90 degree carb filter. Got an 8v with twin 40's. need a 90 degree bend to get the filter up rather than taking air from the bulk head. Also very very limited space behind the carbs for anything.

    Any one with any ideas?

I've never heard of anything like this before; the only think I can suggest is to fabricate some bent tube sections that could be bolted to the mouths of the carbs and move the filters out of the way of the bulkhead.
Would want nice shallow bends if you can get them otherwise you'll lose a bit of power.

i believe you can buy carb trumpets that go through the angel of 90deg.

or you could build a custom air box with cold air feed(s)

My brother had a set of 180 degree trumpets to get round the problem of bulkhead facing carbs. I can't remember where he got them from, but I think it was one of the peugeot tuners (his were for a pug 205).

It may have been these guys:

Use some big silicone hose elbows to turn the trumpets upwards?

I remember on most of the older sports cars I've worked on , particular lotus & healey jenson
they both have carbs (sidedraft & SU's) the trumpets have a air box around them, and 2 cold air feeds from the front of the car, thats one way you could take it ;)
