9a 2.1??? whats involved?

    Mad20v uses MBE managment on his mk1, mapped by V*uxhall specialists SBD

    Be interesting to get some figures for Dex's 'bigger' 2 litre as the cc looks impressive on paper :p , IanB's 9A is very strong at the standard capacity with 268/276s

    gonna be building it myself,not starting just yet but need to gather as much info as poss before hand. :)

    You're going to need big-end bearings every 15k or less.......

    why's that then parz?

    is that only with a short block engine? or with tall block ones too?

    With the long throw crank - a bloke on VWvortex builds them for racing - gets 5k out of the ends in racing, 10k on a daily driver...... 15k would probably suit your granny driving style...... ;)
