Thanks Mike Just to bring across to this thread from the Lydden Rallycross This is Karl Heinz Goldstein. FIA Technical Delegate at the World Rallycross Lydden Hill event, back in May. Designer of the Golf A59 transmission system, ex-Toyota Team Europe and later Volkswagen Motorsport. When I spoke to him, he (like most others) also thought the original Golf A59 - pictured in post 1 above - was long gone. No idea it had survived
