ABF 16v External crank trigger wheel

    Hello,

    Is someone tried to replace original ABF internal crank trigger wheel with external wheel? Will 034 setup work with OEM ABF ECU? Asking because original ABF crankshaft is damaged but I have 2E crankshaft without trigger wheel mountings.

    I have a Golf 4 triggerwheel/bearing on the gearbox side, but I've seen pictures of people having an additional wheel & sensor on the distribution side.
