Hi Folks, I took ownership of a T25 van with an ABF conversion last year. It has since developed an unhealthy knock so I took it the engine out and Jason (@mr-hillclimber) at JMR has kindly had a look. The big end bearing on no1 has gone so it appears I'm in the market for a replacement crankshaft or a short engine. I've been scouring the usual eBay and looking out for vehicles being broken but no luck so far... I know my way around the T25 communities fairly well but am new to the GTI world - any recommendations of places to contact/post about a short engine or crankshaft would be gratefully received.
