ABF engine number location

I would like to update my V5C with a new engine code (ABF in a Mk2 16v, originally a KR). Where exactly can I find the full engine code on the ABF block? The V5C currently has an engine code starting with the letters 'KR'

on the flat part right above the oil breather box

 

This shows the location of a DX number, very top centre, right. Two letters there, and 6 numbers.



It is the same on an ABF except the numbers are slightly further down the block due to its extra height (16mm). Often rusty, a long blade screwdriver should help you scrape the surface.

Ah, perfect - same as ABF, just below the inverted crescent shape
